Prima Commerical Fitouts were asked to create a welcoming and productive space for customers and employees at their new location in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.

The Brief
When Arthur Care secured its latest office space located ideally across from the Nambour Hospital, Prima Commerical Fitouts were asked to design and fitout a space that provided both privacy and opportunities for collaboration.
The office fitout needed to feel welcoming while providing a practical environment for staff to undertake their important day-to-day tasks to help individuals in the local community. Making the most of the available floor space was a key focus of the project.
The Result
From acoustics to biophilic design, Arthur Care was for us an exercise in thoughtful, person-centred design while equally creating a productive office environment.To make the most of the limited floorspace most of the furniture was custom-designed and manufactured by Prima Commercial Fitouts specifically for the project. Everything had been made to dimensions so as to maximise floorspace while maintaining good circulation space and functionality.
Cabinetry with built-in planter tops was designed and built to afford additional privacy to workstations and improve acoustics. The plants complement the natural timber tones and address biophilic considerations.
A custom-designed and manufactured greeting station, Tasmanian oak wall cladding, and custom-designed reception coffee table helped provide volumes of style and functionality with the oak cladding doubling as an acoustic solution to provide privacy, and custom-built fixtures and furniture ensured we made the most of the floorspace. We opened the office space with glass walls allowing staff and clients to feel less closed in while creating an elegant modern feel and maintaining privacy.
